Along with the diet loss and change to a healthy lifestyle, which has to be a permanent change, i have had problems with drink. I have always been a drinker and this has not halped my cause.
I have since starting my diet, decided to stop drinking totaly. If i can achieve both of these goals i feel i will be able to achieve any target i put my mind to.
When i was growing up it was always a case of not wasting food, my parents grew up during the second world war. Obviously food was scarce. You only realise later that if you have a smaller meal you don't waste food.
Staying focused helps me, i know why i have started this and its these reasons that keep me motivated. The most important reason is i am doing this for me, for my health. If you are trying to change for someone else it makes it a lot harder.
