Default fruit based diet

I want to start eating mostly fruits.

It's not about losing weight - this is just certain eating style i want to adopt.

Reason nr. 1 is - fruits are cheap.
Reason nr 2 is - i love fruits.

But i know that it wouldn't be healthy to eat only fruits and i have to supplement my diet with other things too.

And this is my question - what would i have to add to my fruit based diet in order to stay healthy?

I'd get some protein in there too - fish, chicken (Oops you might be a veggie for all I know ).

As you say fruits are great but you need a bit of variety. Any particular reason why you just want fruit? How about maybe adding some nuts too. High in the good fats and lots of nutrients. Plus they have a good way of making you feel fuller for longer.

Fruits benefits:

. Contains pectin, which assists in the formation of jellies,
. Contains little or no fat and protein,
. Contains small amounts of carotene (vitamin A) and vitamin b-complex

And don't forget the sugar. But it's OK as it's natural fructose which comes laden with vitamins, minerals and nutrients. Also fruit contains high levels of fibre which is both good for digestion and suppressing the appetite.

Fruits have very few calories . You cannot just eat fruits all the time . They can only be used as fillers between meals .

you do need alot of protien if you can, fish, chicken ect....

but if you are a veggie..... eat your potatoes (mainly sweet as they are better on the carbs side) beans, soup, veggie fajita's....

the list is endless, to find out more, when you google search something put it in inverted commas ( " ) and the search will only come up with the relevant info on your search....

Regaurds.

Nothing. I love fruit, so when the season come, I eat ONLY fruit. Your body will tell you when to add something. I ate nothing but cherries for a week, not to lose weight, but because I love cherries, then one day my body said that it would like some protein, so I got myself low fat cheese. You will not die or become ill on fruit, believe me. And it will clean you inside as well.
