I've chewed gum practically all my whole life and didn't really realise the benefits of doing it for weight loss.
I knew gum chewing was good for dental health as well as for helping you to digest your food more effectively. But there have been studies on chewing gum (sugar-free of course) which point to the fact that it helps by suppressing your appetite and making those naughty sugar cravings go away. Neat fact eh? |

well thats a new one...
if any smokers are reading this, i found chewing gum to be a good distractor when craving.... and i dont mean quit smoking gum, just general gum..... i think it keeps the mind occupied while doing another task, e.g. working or driving.... Regaurds.
