If you want to lose weight so fast, try no carbs diet but it is not a healthy diet. And there is a big tendency that you'll regain your weight back. So, I suggest do it slowly but surely atleast the effect is long term one.

Do regular exercise and eat moderately or try to eat a little bit of everything.

How high carb is white bread or bagels, im eating these for lunch could this be a bad lunchtime choice if im sitting at my desk working till 5pm?

white bread isnt good at all. i would have brown as it is alot better for you and white bread just bungs you up. i dont think bagels are to bad but im not sure as i dont eat them
