A diet of healthy fruits, vegetables, fish and lean meats like turkey or chicken is the key to weight loss. Cut out sugar, white flour, starches like white potatoes and fats like butter. Eat grain carbs in small, small amounts oatmeal, long-grain brown rice, etc. once or twice a day.
