Default Sardines.

Hi,
I'm the sort who can eat the same thing day in day out! My typical daily diet is:

Breakfast: 1 weetabix with 20g Wheat bran, 30g Soya bran, 5g seed mix + sweeteners. 1 large grapefruit and 1 piece of bran crisp bread. Cod liver oil and omega 3 fish oil and a vitamin tablet. Tea.

Lunch: 1 tin of Sardines in spring water in 1 slice of Danish bread. 1 piece of bran crisp bread. Fruit.

Dinner: Same as lunch.

Supper: Same as breakfast.

That's about 1,000 kcal. I may add 100g roast beef and vegetables. I may add another tin of sardines as I write this! Does anyone have any ideas how I might hone my diet? I'm 51 and I do some excercise (Bike and weighted pull ups.) but I'm not a bodybuilder but I would like to see myself get fitter and stronger before old age sets in. Regards.

Hi there! I am new to this site but have been on other diet forums.
I think that sticking to the same things doesn't stimulate the metabolic system. A good varied diet that incudes vegies and fruit is much more healthier. I take it that you are male and if so 1000 cals is quite low for you, according to statistics.
Hope you have success in your endeavours....

If you do exercises regularly , that will might not effect your body shape . But if you are not regular that will not be a healthy activity for you to adopt .

Hi Dudek,
I do weighted pull-ups every day and, when the weather brightens, I cycle. I know my calorie intake is quite restricted but I'm not wasting away and I'm not anorexic, I don't have an aversion to eating. I wish that I could increase my exercise and calories but no time. Thanks for your comments.

Sardines are rarely awash fresh, but if found, accept close angle with bright eyes and skin. They can be awash smoked or salt-cured.Sardines, with their arch and abdomen removed and adapted in their own juices, are canned. Sardines in oil improve with age.

Well I feel you are doing just fine. 1500 is the average calorie intake. Even 1000 is very good.
Do not reduce it too much. Or else you might be starving and falling here and there.
I guess you should just continue with your hard work and wait patiently for your body to show results.
Every body is different and it might take time to show results. So do not give up so easily. And do tell us how was it.
