I don't think so inspite of eating vegetables and fruits you are not loosing weight It means you are gaining weight. Then you must consult to a doctor. He may advice you something different.

To become vegetarian is not enough to lose weight.
You must also have to decrease your calories in take and try to burn more calories in this way to lose fats. |

hello i too am vegetarian but i have managed to lose weight, the keys is to not eat to much processed foods such as pre made burgers or chicken style things, alot of the veggie things have egg and cheese and milk cream etc so are high fat, ive found cooking from sctratch a god send make your own things legumes are great kidney beans aduki butter bean etc are great they fill you up are low in fat i make bean chilli, a bean & sausage cassrole, i do mixed beans with a little curry powder great on toast or in a jacket spud, i make all my own sauces for spag bol etc once you get into the swing of cooking youll love it herbs and spices are a pantry must bouillon is also a mainstay. i like to have some pre made stuff in the week but i dont have them everyday. ive found calorie counting for me has best way
