I was planning on trying a protein replacement meal in the form of a shake. Not sure I'm going to like the taste but has anyone tried any? Which ones do you suggest that has a good taste to it?

Protein health supplements in powder are often called protein shakes.Protein aids in muscle building. Muscle mass is important to lose weight too, to help keep undesirable pounds from increasing. As this comparison shows diet shakes and protein shakes are targeting two distinct levels of protein.

Hey Keith
Thanks for that. Which ones have you tried? I dabbled years back but didn't like the chalky taste most of them have. What's your recommendation for a good shake? I have seen a brand I'm thinking of trying but they are a little pricey though... |

Artificial protein sources should be avoided . Use eggs and fish as the source of protein . They are good .

There is a company called Nature's sunshine that produce completely natural supplements. I saw that they have recently released a whey protein shake called nutri burn. Might be the ideal answer in your search?

I got mixed feelings about shakes, sometimes i read good and bad things about them. I would recommed shakes if you go to gym or exercise home but generally exercising.

Totally agree with you there James. It's like most products to do with weight loss, you need to have balance and just drinking a protein shake is not going to do jack unless you're working out and eating right too.
