Default Need some help please

This is my first post, so hello!!!

I'm not even sure if this is the right forum to post this in however here goes.

I have a general level of fitness, go to the gym and play football etc however I have decided to make a concerted effort to lose a bit of weight and get fit.

I am within normals of BMI for my height etc and I am not overweight.

However I do have a few flabby bits that I want to get rid of and I just need to know that I am going in the right direction.

I have made a plan forthe gym and doing basic HIIT training on th cross trainer. I start with a warm up 10-15 on the bike the move over to the corss trainer.

On the cross trainer I again have a warm up then do sets of 90 90% capacity (30 secs) and then 50% (90 secs). I finish with a warm up. I started with 4 sets and each week adding another. I am in the middle of a 6 week plan now and need to know whether I am on the right track. My plan at the end of the six weeks is to change the balance so mybe 45 sec v 45 secs.

I am unable to row or run due to a disaibilty and that also limits me with weights. I do some wieght for maybe 25 mins, mainly my lower body which I am happy with.

I also have a question regarding diet. I dont think that I eat enough. I eat generally good, however I literally onyl have lunch and dinner. However would this effect the above?

I am not sure whether this is a question or not, maybe I am just looking for some guidance

Regards

Hi there,
The excersise you are doing sounds good and the cross trainer gives you a cv workout which burns fat. Bearing in mind you have a disability, you may have to target the areas you are not happy with. Have you tried powerplates? Most gyms have them now and with instruction these are meant to be really good. Also drinks lots and lots of water throughout the day and like the last post said, you must have breakfast as this kickstarts your metabolism.
Give this a try and let me know how you get on!
Coco
