    Lightbulb Portion sizes

When I started to look at the size of a 'healthy, sensible' portion of some of the foods I eat I got a real shock. Some things I was eating the right amount and some I was even not eating enough but others, meat in particular I was seriously overdoing. I researched it a lot and virtually all sources agreed that a portion of meat should be about the size of a deck of playing cards, so I've had to cut back on my carniverous habits a lot. Funnily enough it has not been hard at all no feelings of deprivation or being unsatisfied at the end of the meal.

    Hi!
I've just joined and i thought i'd add in my 2 pence worth.
I find that halfing my portions means that i can clear my plate of that first and give it a while to go down and if i still feel hungry i can have a half of what i just had and it helps to trick your body into thinking you've eaten a lot when really, you've just eaten 3/4 of what you normally would have!

Simple, yet i have seen results!

Lots of water also helps to clear your skin and help with detoxing, i've felt a lot less bloated than usual
I also would like to add that if you feel hungry inbetween meals, drink a glass of water and if you still feel hungry 5 minutes later, eat something. But hunger can sometimes be eradicated by drinking some water or diet soft drink!

Sorry for the long post, Abbie
