Default Hello, i'm new & stuck in a rut!

Hey everyone. This is first time i;ve joined a weight loss forum but decided it was about time as i am seriosuyl stuck in a rut.
I have always battled with my weight. My dad was quite large, my mum slender. I take after my dad, big appetitie with food, eat when not hungry etc etc.
In 2003/2004 i followed the slimmin world principles of red/green days and managed to loose 2 1/2stone in a year. Then my mum died, didnt eat for ages and then gorged and it all went back on and more.
2005 moved in with my partner at the time, 2006 fell pregnant in the april, lost my baby at 6 months in the oct but then fell pregnant in the dec. Gave birth in Sept 07. Since then i have struggled with my weight. Looking back through diaries at that time my biggest weight was on 15th Aug 2008 and i was 109kg (17stone 2lbs). In the following year i went up and down with my weight, but got down to 99kg (15stone 8lbs). So 1stone 8lbs in a year. However this still left me with a BMI of way over 30.
During that year it was discovered i sufferfrom hypothroidism which is why i struggle so much to get weight off, but why it goes on so quickly. I am now on thyroxine for life, currently taking 150mcg daily.
At the beginning of Oct last year my doc prescirbed me Reductil, a drug that blocks messages to the brain, so essentially i never felt hungry so ate less etc. But i still ate what i liked, fatty foods, chocoalte etc. I really was bad but because my thryoxine was now at the correct dose the weight still came off. By 22nd Jan this year, from my biggest weight of 109kg i had got down to 93.5kg (14stone 10lbs). However Reductil then lost its licence for having increased risk of heart attack & strokes.

From 22nd Jan till today i've only lost .5 of a lb, cant complain as i have stuffed my face. I cant control myself. I am back to eating and eating and eating. Had my monthly check with doc today and she has now prescribed orlisat/xenical 120mg but only once a day rather than 3 times.

Is anyone else of this drug? I know i need to reduce the fat in my diet so i need to be strict on myself. I need a kick in the butt to get my focus back on track.
