    Default Hello!

Well I suppose I better introduce myself!

I am Fiona, I'm 34 and I live in Bristol.

I have struggled with my weight all my life really. I was a chubby kid and then became a fat teenager and then an even fatter adult. At my heaviest I was around 17 1/2 stone. I have managed to get my weight down to a more respectable level, by a combination of healthy eating and exercise. I got down to about 10 stone about 5 years ago but my weight has crept up a bit to be honest and it fluctuates all the time. I have to keep my eye on the ball constantly. Thankfully I have never let myself get as big as I was at my heaviest and I aim to try and get a bit more off now so I can get back to my previous condition.

I have been featured in Bella magazine, an article on my weight loss ... this was quite a few years ago now but more recently, last year I appeared in the magazine that accompanies the Daily Telegraph, an article on people who have lost a lot of weight and kept the majority of it off for 5 years or more.

I am very interested in weight training and body building and spend a lot of time posting on a very popular bodybuilding forum, which is where I have gained a lot of my knowledge, especially on diet and nutrition.

That's about all for now...look forward to chatting to you all soon! )

    Hi Fiona,

A total weight loss of around seven and half stone is amazing.

And all done by a combination health eating and exercise. Well done!

Was there a particular catalyst for your change in attitude toward food and exercise?

I'd love to read your magazine articles if they are available online.

Not a particular catalyst really, I just got so fed up with being overweight for the usual reasons, i.e. - looking dreadful, feeling dreadful, clothes won't fit, no energy, depressed, lethargic, being laughed at / mocked, concerns about health .... and so the list goes on.

I'll try and post up some pics and maybe the article at the weekend when I have more time.
