    Smile Lose fat not weight

    Hi all,

I stumbled on this site and thought about contributing a little bit.

I am a body builder and have been training for over 5 years now and I have learned a lot about nutrition and exercises that burn fat.

Over the years I have heard a lot of people saying that they want to loose weight and want to go on a diet. Fair enough, everybody wants to be slimmer or have a beach body, but the sad news is that most people don't have the mental strength to achieve their goals. They give up before they have even started. The way to approach dieting is very important in order to succeed. Eating healthy and exercising should become a way of life not just a 2 month thing. The first thing you have to do is asses whether you are capable of changing the way you see food and are prepared to give up on a few things in order start a healthy life and loose weight.

I will be more than happy to give those who are interested some tips on how to successfully migrate from your current eating habits to eating healthy without cravings foods you like or starving yourself to death.

    Hiya, welcome to the forum.
As some on here may already know, I am a big supporter of training with weights to promote and also maintain fat loss and physique - so great to have you onboard

Hi Fiona, glad to know we share the same interest.
I think it would be great if we can setup a forum for members who are interested in weight training and sports nutrition.

Good idea to add a section aimed at the weights etc side of dieting!

I am always up for hearing good advice. I have lost nearly 3 stone but have stuck for the past couple of months. I do go to the gym but I have a mobility problem so my work outs are limited. I do use the Power Plate. So any advice you can give me to give myself a kick start would be appreciated.
