Hey,
My name's Heather, I am new to all this dieting thing really cos i have never really properly dieted, when i was younger i never had a need for it, as i could eat whatever i wanted and not put on a thing, i love food, it is a great pleasure in life, however i also hate it now at the same time, i am not overly overweight however i would like to lose 2 or 3 st. I feel that because i am tall as well i can carry it off, but it still doesn't mean that i dont notice it myself. I am getting married in July and my dress fits fine, it may sound sillly but when i go for my fitting i want them to have to make the dress smaller so then i feek better about myself knowing that i have lost weight, my absolute fear is me going to my fitting and my dress not fitting cos i'm too big, so i am going to make sure that doesn't happen.
I feel like this may be a bit hard cos i have never really dieted before but i hope i can do it!!!!
Heather x

(ps, sorry for the big long essay lol)

Hello.

I started a food diary today. Why don't you write down everything you eat in the day? Few days later, look through it all, and try and chop and change a few foods and snacks to healthier things.

Red face

Hi,
I'm Shoelace13, I'm 24 and am desperately trying to lose weight.
I was always about 10st give or take a few pounds, but now I'm 13st 6lb.
In the last 2 years I've changed jobs where I get fed proper meals at work and moved in with my boyfriend and get take aways often. So I know where the problem lies. My issue is I work shifts and am never able to set a proper times to eat, so I often wake up late and skip breakfast and get home late and start snacking.
I have a wedding to go to in August and bought a dress one size lower so I have to lose weight before then. I've bought a bike and been out a few times and as from last week I go swimming once a week.
But I find it really hard to motivate myself to exercise, and give up the chocolate.
I hope I am able to find some help and support online as my boyfriend is no help and neither are my family. My boyfriend gives in too easily and my dad just wants to feed everyone all the time. Please help?
