When trying to lose weight it's very useful to know your body fat percentage. This is because you can easily monitor how you're progressing on a weight loss program. Sometimes you may not lose any weight for a week or two but, this does not necessarily mean you haven't lost any stored body fat. Knowing your fat percentage allows you to see all the positive changes within your body.
So it is important to keep track on your fat percentage to calculate your weight program.
