    Default changing my lifestyle

    Hi everyone,

Just received an email from diets.co.uk, so I have registered. I am having sleepless nights, thinking about the amount of weight I have put on the last few years, in fact I even sent off for information on weight loss surgery. I knew surgery was not really an option, so this morning I made a life changing decisions for myself to change my diet, to get in shape exercise, give up smoking and get back some of the sparkle in my life. My fiend avisited over christmas, she said what's happened..you use to be so much fun..I explained she said lose it or get use to it the choice is yours, you only live once and make the most of it.

So far so good, I get cravings for a biscuit or something but the trick is not to buy items that you really should not be eating, I have a young daughter and she has agreed to compromise on some of her snacks, the good thing is she does not like chocolate and only drinks water. today is the first day I have had breakfast, lunch etc in ages and carriedout some physical activity (not much, but I felt it in my legs)

I am really going to try, my self-esteem is very low at present and I have virutally become housebound, only going out to go to work and my daughte'rs acitvities.

Anyway I have two holidays coming up in February and April, so this should give an incentive I willl let you know. how I am doing. I am goinjg towegh and measure myself now.

Good Luck to fellow changing our lives people.

    Hiya

    Welcome to the forums!

Well done on going for it with your diet & exercise regime.
I'm trying to lose at least a stone myself and i know its alot harder when you have kids at home, as they have
things for packed lunch plus life is so busy anyway with the after school activites etc.
Its hard to get any time for yourself to exercise!

Or thats been my excuse anyway, for the last year.

Look forward to chatting more, check out the general forum too.
