I highly recommend discontinuing with the maple syrup diet. It may seem great in the beginning when you are dropping pounds, but the truth is limiting your body to so few calories will actually cause weight gain. Your body will go into starvation mode, storing as much fat as possible, and as well as this, you will be depriving your body of the key nutrients it requires. Over the next few days you will begin to feel irritable, tired. You may have problems with your bowls and such. Then, when you have "completed" your diet, and begin to eat normally again, you will gain twice as much as you lost.
