    Default Here goes nothing! (:D

OK, so, first thing this morning I got the courage to start trying to loose weight. -D (I've been writing this as it's been happening and just copied it all down here, so it's in noobish *sniggers*)

I started by not loading my breakfast bowl to the brim and only using enough milk instead of filling the bowl then drinking it all with a straw (I know I'm strange!) and had some orange juice.

ZOMG! I had no choccy bar for elevenses, just an apple! :

Dinner = Sunday roast...hmm...I'll go for a walk while it's cooking 1. It's excercise, 2. I'm gonna figure out how to resist temptation.

Gawd, it's cold out there! Anyways, I managed not to ask for extra meat but went for extra roasties instead.

OH NOES! I went and got a Kit-Kat for afters, then went back for another! Not good...

Tea is MICROWAVE LASAGNE!!! WOOT!!! (Fav food, incase you haven't realised) and an orange.

Evening snack = erm, there's nothing in! TESCO HERE WE COME! And temptation...oo-er.

I gots me enough microwave lasagne for a whole month! And enough fruit to last a whole year. But I ain't touchin those bananas...YUK!

Aaaaaaand that's it. The evilishness of the Kit-Kat and the roasties compelled me! Any suggestions as to how I get to look like my big sister when she dresses as Lara Croft:

instead of this (YUK!) (and I was breathing in on those pics) would be much appreciated.

    P.S.
Dressing as Lara Croft runs in the family, people may think it's weird, but we think it normal because a VERY distant relative was an official Lara Croft model, so please no saying that we're strange! Thankies.

(BTW, I hate veggies and am a very fussy eater, so don't bother suggesting salad, coz it aint gonna happen!)

    Hiya Emma

Nice to see you have started a journal! Keep it up. ><

Also doesnt look as though you had too much of a good day yesterday, i always find Sundays really hard too, esp with
    sunday dinners,deserts etc! mmmmm
And kit kats, omg dont get me started i love em! Dont suppose i should be saying it on a diets forum, lol.

But with kit kats what i find works for me, is i buy a pack of 7 2 finger kit kats then i try and stick to my diet all day and if i am good
and eat healthily i treat myself to a kit kat with a cup of coffee in the evening when i have got the kids up to bed. lol It helps keep me sane.
Maybe you could try that, gives you summin to look forward to in the evening too, cos they are usually harder for people not to snack than any
    other time during the day.
Also microwave food is quick and easy but not always the best option on a diet tbh, as they are usually full of additives etc. Fresh is usually best if possible.

Also Lara Croft costume is looking good! Maybe you could hem the bottom up a bit with some wonderweb just to stop it fraying? :-)

Weekends are just 'wrong' when you're dieting.

Saturday night was interesting as I declared Id be cooking and asked a friend if she wanted to join me. I thought Id got round the Sat night take away 'issue', only for her to turn up with a Cherry pie and custard as a thanks for the meal! D'oh, Id've been better off with a chop suey! haha.

    These things happen.

I like Gems kitkat solution. You start to know what your weaknesses are and find ways of 'damage limitation'.

My weaknesses are...among other things, prawn crackers, chip shop fish, jack daniels, crisp sandwiches.

My solutions are....erm, not got the crackers sorted yet, avoid chip shops like the plague, can't afford JD now Ive joined a gym, and I don't buy crisps with the weekly shop, so If I want them I have to go out and get them, by which time the craving has got back into perspective and 9/10 times I'll come back with something healthier.

You'll figure it out, and believe me, there are plenty of people who would look plenty worse than you in that outfit! Me included x

Thankies for the tips, I've been sticking to the kit-kat reward system like glue and it works! I've also made microwave lasagne my friday night treat and been substituting chips for jacket potatoes, going for smaller portions, only one sugar in coffee etc.
And I'm not endlessly craving food still, so that's good!

OK then, school. Totally different matter when it comes to food. As before, it's all noted down as I ate, and I didn't half get some funny looks in the common room!

Breakfast = 1 slice of my little sister's toast...WHAT?! I was late getting up!

Break time is elevenses, but being late I AINT GOT OWT! But my boyfriend let me share his sausage roll

For dinner I has a cheese sarnie, a carton of fruit juice (which = 1 portion of fruit!) and a lovely choccie bun...BAD BAD BAD!!! I wish Nathan didn't give me his cakes...but he says he likes me just the way I am.

PASTA PASTA PASTA!!! I has had pasta for tea! Pasta, low fat mayo and chargrilled chicken pieces. Along with pure orange juice and a fruit salad for afters. P.E.R.F.E.C.T.

Now I'm sat at the laptop in my favourite corner munching on chewing gun to stop my food cravings. It's surprising how well it works!

Oh, and I measured my waist yesterday and I appear to have lost half a centimetre! It doesn't sound like much, but by the amount of time I've been dieting, it's ruddy AWESOME!!!

Looks like things are going ok hun!

I think the measuring thing can be better when dieting instead of actually weighing.
You get more of a real indication of how much you are losing, same as how your clothes feel too.

I find tip tops are good too, when you feel hungry. They are only water really and are good as a naughty snack stopper! lol
